#7EXTRAMINS with Kerastase
I’m thrilled to be working with one of my favourite hair hair brands Kerastase! I’ve been using Kerastase for years now, so you can only imagine my excitement when they approached me to try their new “Discipline” treatment and line of products. AND share a giveaway with my readers – An at home Discipline care routine (valued at $150)… don’t forget to enter below!
The Discipline line is all about saving us time. (Hello- sign me up) Helping us achieve manageable locks, with more control, longer lasting hold and beating humidity/frizz. After hearing all the benefits of the new line I was ready to try it out! Since having Liam, my hair is been dull, not as shiny and honesty not manageable at all. This momma needed a “hair lift”!I decided to take a Monday morning off, with a Starbucks in hand, heading down to Suki’s Salon in Vancouver. Oh my word is it ever stunning in there! I was warmly welcomed by the kind staff and seated with a gorgeous view of the city behind me. My treatment started off with with a friendly consolation from one of the hair specialists, she then washed my hair and started the first half of the treatment process. After, she blow dried by hair, as well as straightening it with a flat iron. The second step was washing my hair again, applying the second step- the conditioning treatment. Finally they applied the third step right before styling/ curling my hair. I honestly loved every minute, such a relaxing treat!
Right when I left the salon I noticed such a fresh and manageable feel to my hair. My curls lasted longer, I didn’t experience any frizz from the humidity and I found that I didn’t have to wash my hair right away either. I’ve loved the the final results- see photos here. Since then, I’ve been using three products from the new line: Smooth-in-motion shampoo, Maskeratine (conditioning), and the complete anti-frizz, heat protecting spray.
I’m extremely happy with the products and not one bit surprised that they work wonders! All over again I’m so in love with Kerastase, my all time favourite!
So, with my “extra seven minutes”, thanks to the Dicipline treatment and products, I’ve enjoyed a morning coffee and breakfast with one of my dear friends Jessica of Kardz Kourture. Including fresh flowers, macarons and buttery croissants- how could we not? She was so kind to let me shoot these photos in her amazingly stunning home, as we patiently build our new house! I’m sure she’ll be sharing a home tour in no time! In the mean time have a little peek at her bright marble home… and gorgeous prints (below) available in her stationary shop!
