Liam’s Nursery

I’m so excited to finally share Liam’s nursery with you all! Tracey (our photographer) took these photos just under a year ago, when Liam was still brand new! Three months old to be exact! His sweet nursery was just published in the July issue of Style at Home, so I’ve officially been given the “yes” to post!

When dreaming up Liam’s nursery I knew I wanted to stick to a clean, crisp palate. Lots of neutrals and whites, but at the same time really giving a “boy” feel to the room! I hope you love it as much as we do! It’s such a cozy place to escape to… even when he’s crying!

We’re painting our 2nd bedroom right now (which will be a nursery someday…) I was thinking I wanted wainscoting with the Osborne and Little Coronata Star wallpaper but was worried it might look too busy. Then your post popped up in my feed! Sold! Liam’s nursery is absolutely stunning! I love all the RH B&C 🙂

    I love the soft and calming hues of the whole room, it must be so peaceful! I think my favorite element may be the star wallpaper!

  10. Did you refinish the dresser that you purchased from IKEA? I love the color!! I followed the link to the specific product but the colors available don’t appear to match your piece of furniture.

  11. Hi! Absolutely love the nursery! How many stars did you need for the walls? I’m trying to figure out how I order these decals. It says it comes in 50 stars 4″ wide. Did you measure your room out for the amount you needed?

  15. Lovely room! Where did you get the frame for the ‘for like ever’ print? I’m thinking of getting this print for my daughter’s room and like the contrast of the dark grey frame. Thank you!

      1. Love the way you put together this nursery. It’s perfect! Just wondering if you had a special technique that you followed to measure and apply them to the wall? How far spaced are each individual row and the stars from each other?

          Thank you for your sweet comment! We used green tape, marked the spacing on the tape and moved it over each time! 🙂 That was the easiest! A tape measure is a must too! 🙂

    I’ve been eyeing that same nursery chair for a few months now but no where in Vancouver seems to carry it! That means buying sight unseen which is always stressful – are you happy with it? Comfortable?

  22. Hi Monika! I absolutely adore Liam’s nursery and was thinking of doing something similar for my little boy’s nursery. Wondering if you remember what color RH change pad cover you purchased? They have a flax and grey that look similar to what you have but I would love to know the exact as it seems to match the warm grey decals perfectly. Thanks!
