A Christmas Giveaway
Happy Monday everyone!! This is going to be one of my last posts of the year! I wanted to thank you for clicking over daily and supporting me this year! It’s truly been one of my best years, and that’s all thanks to you! From rebranding, to amazing partnerships and projects, I’m beyond thankful for your comments, and love towards what I “put out there”.
I thought my last post should be a gift. But perhaps a gift to you, to experience the “gift of giving”. I want to honour one mom. A mom who has shown grace, love, compassion, strength, but maybe not receiving any of that in return. A mom that’s had a tough year and could really use some extra spoiling this Christmas! So my gift to you, is to give you the opportunity to spoil and nominate a mom you love. A friend, sister, daughter, niece… that you think truly deserved the gift of LOVE. To a mom who normally wouldn’t spoil herself and needs to be more then spoiled on Christmas day.
I have rounded up my favourite things, with a total value over $1200.00. I would love if you nominated a mom in your world with a comment below. Tell me a little bit of her story (just a few sentences is perfect), and I’ll do my best to choose one mom // I have a feeling this will be hard.. who truly deserves all the above gifts. I will announce the winner on Christmas morning. Till then, take a little time and think this one through. I can’t wait to start reading all the stories!
Merry Christmas!

My mama is my hero! I am a mother to two beautiful girls myself, and I couldn’t have done this without the love of my own mom. My mom has had a major health crisis in the last few months, it has been very hard on all of us, but also taught us what is really important in life, and that is health, family and happiness. I would love to spoil my beloved mama With these beautiful gifts. Thanks for a little ray of sunshine! ☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️ Merry Christmas!
I feel honored to nominate a good friend of mine, Suzanne McVicker! She lost her mother at a young age. She and her husband have been married for twelve years and tried for most of that time to start a family but unfortunately had no luck. She worked for DHS dealing hands on with children (and is now a teacher). It broke my heart and everyone else’s heart who knew her because she had so much love for children yet couldn’t conceive her own… until a year ago. After years of struggles, disappointments, and heartbreak, she finally conceived. She was considered a high risk pregnancy, but God blessed her with a smooth delivery and a beautiful baby girl who is now 9 months old! This woman has spent her life in service of children and is finally fulfilling her dream of being a mom. There is no one more deserving than her. Thank you for considering my nomination and Merry Christmas!
My mom, Kathy, is the most selfless, giving woman I know. She has devoted her entire life to her family and has worked tirelessly to ensure that my sister and I have had every opportunity in life, which often meant she had to go without. Now that she is a grandma she continues to give selflessly to her grandchildren. She has never bought anything for herself that can be described as an “indulgence” and I would love, for once, to see her get spoiled.
I would love to nominate my daughter, Nici Robinson. This year, her youngest son was diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophy type 1 when he was 4 months old. It is a rare genetic disease that causes overall weakness to the body. He will never sit, walk or eat by mouth. He cannot move his legs and has very little movement in his arms. It also causes a lot of breathing issues. My daughter was told that her son will most likely not live past the age of two, as the prognosis of the disease is 95% of babies pass away before 2 years old. However, she has fought for this little boy. She has learned how to feed him by a feeding tube, how to do breathing treatments and has learned how best to care for our sweet baby. He has been in the hospital 6 times in 8 months, for about 10 weeks total. She stays in the hospital with him, never leaving his side. She has fought for her son and his care as doctors do not know much about his disease. She also has a three year old son that she tries to give as much attention to while she cares for her other son. She never does anything for her self, so I would love to do something special for her.
My friend Lindsay, is stay at home mom of 3 boys. She is always so busy with their daily activities and needs I don’t think she ever takes time for herself. I cannot remember the last time she bought herself something as it really isn’t in the budget to do so. I think this would be the perfect gift for her as she is so deserving of something special just for her as she always puts everyone else’s needs/wants way ahead of hers!
I want to nominate my sister-in-law! Taelor is the most selfless mommy i know! She has a god given heart and is always putting everyone first! Her and my brother have the hugest hearts for god and are always busy serving graciously with there church! She is an amazing mommy to a 4month old and i would love to be able to spoil her and her angel this Christmas. She deserves it. Not everything has been easy for her this year with a lot of family struggles. I feel she needs a big happy moment and something totally surprising and put of the blue. She has been doing an amazing job. I am ao proud of her.
My mom just lost her own mom 2 days ago, and this gift would be so special to her to wrap up a sad year. She has taken care of me and her own mom for so long, always tireless throughout all the years working fulltime without a vacation for herself. My mom really needs a reminder that she matters too!
I would love to nominate my friend Laura! She is an incredible young Mom – she has one son who is 7.5 months old and shortly after having him, her husband lost his job. Laura has always dreamed of and planned on being a stay at home Mom but she has had to go back to work to be able to pay their bills. Her husband has now taken a job delivering pizzas to try to allow her to be home with their son more often. In the midst of this, they also had to take their nephew in for a period of time and they are responsible for a youth group of 30 kids. Laura has handled all of this with incredible grace, never complaining but always remaining grateful for what they do have. I would love to see her blessed this Christmas!
Hi Monika,
This is so generous of you. I would like to nominate a dear friend who has experienced an awful loss this year. Angela lost her husband, Scott in a car accident a few months ago. They have four small children and she is also pregnant with their fifth child. She now faces so many challenges alone including very serious health issues with one of their sons. She is an amazing mother and friend and deserves this pick me up more than you know. I know this would give her joy on a very hard first Christmas morning without Scott. xox
I nominate my daughter Vanessa. She had her first child a year ago yesterday. Unfortunately she was hospitalized last year over Xmas because of a post-partum hemorrage so she missed really enjoying her daughter’s first Xmas. I’ve watched her this year give everything she has to her baby. She is truly inspiring. I would love to see her get this special gift as these are things I know she would absolutely love but wouldn’t buy for herself.
Hands down, my maman. She is such a generous soul- so thoughtful and generous with her heart, time, and little money she has (my parents are incredibly stringent with their finances, and adhere to a pretty strict budget. They are incredibly happy and make do with what they have, and any extra they may have, is always offered to their children). My mom is selfless and always puts her family’s needs before her own. This would be an amazing gift for such a sweet, loving, caring person. So withoit hesitation, I nominate her.
I want to nominate my little sister – she moved out of my parents house with her son finally only to lose her job four days later. My nephew is also spending Christmas with his Dad this year (for the first time) and something like this would make her Christmas!
Hi! My friend Melanie deserves to be spoiled! She is a first time mom who is a full time teacher and teaches yoga before and after school. She is such a wonderful person who constantly gives to others. Her and her husband had their world rocked three months ago when they found out their 1.5 yr old son had type one diabetes. . It has been a rough couple of months of adjusting to needles, pumps, monitors, new schedules, and relationships. She is one of the strongest people I know and listening to her share her experience , the highs and lows, As a mom has given me such a new found respect for her.
I’d like to nominate my friend Jolene for this giveaway. She’s had a really tough year. Her youngest son was diagnosed with leukemia this year and she’s been battling this for the last several months. Trying to balance life with a sick child, a “normal” child fighting for her own attention, being a working mom, and a loving wife has been exhausting to say the least. She deserves this ray of sunshine at a time that’s been really gloomy. She’s also a really great friend who always has time to listen…selfless, honest, and loving. She deserves this so much!
For my friend Shantal who is raising to amazing children on her own. I would love to see her get spoiled. Everything she does is for her kids and needs a bit of pampering herself.
Nominating my co-worker-Christina! She’s had the most difficult year with an uncle passing, a 13 year old daughter with emotional and social issues and her Dad has medical issues from advanced Diabetes. This Mom can not catch a break and yet she’s there for EVERYONE-always supporting and listening to everyone else’s issues. She has no one to get her presents so this would be perfect!! Xo
I want to nominate my sister-in-law, but I want it to “come” from her husband, so I’m putting his name and email up. Tasha is an AMAZING woman. She and my brother have a 5 year old and a 1 year old, with the baby being super medically needy and has lived in the hospital from birth for his first year of life. My brother hasn’t been able to work in 3 years following a really bad car wreck, so she has been taking care of her entire family – man, child, and baby – as well as working full-time, keeping her house clean, making sure all the bills are paid, and somehow still managing to volunteer and offer her help to other people, make art projects with her kids and equally divide her attention and time between the healthier child and the sick child. I have absolutely no idea how she does all of these and I can’t think of anyone more deserving to be given this treat or to be given a break than her. My brother is a total Neanderthal at showing his appreciation and if I left this up to him it will never happen, but I can only imagine how my sister-in-law would feel. All this time all she was ever wanting was a simple thank you. Her Instagram is @tashasparkles. I really hope you choose her.
It is an honour to nominate my extraordinary maman. After her twin sister was diagnosed with cancer in August, and was admitted for 30 days of inpatient chemo, my mom spent every day driving to and from the hospital, researching treatments and connecting with doctors, and tirelessly ensuring that my aunt had everything she needed to keep her spirit bright. But, after two failed rounds of chemo, my aunt has been sent home to spend her last bit of time with us in the comfort and care of her loved ones. My mom has been resilient, but the exhaustion of months past and the sadness of reality is visceral; as I live in Europe, I only wish I could be here more often to hold her and tell her just how very loved she is. So, today, I can’t think of a more fitting way to give her back the gift of giving by filling her heart than with this beautiful package.
I am nominating my friend who, at this moment shall remain nameless unless she were to win! My friend became and was left on her own by her now ex-fiancée. Despite pressures from her family to abort her baby, she stood up for herself and for her baby. She is selfless, generous and self-sacrificing. She would do anything for her little girl. This girl truly deserves a break and I can think of no one more deserving than she!
What a fantastic way to honour moms.
I’d like to nominate my mom who is the glue in our family. A few months before my daughter, her first grandchild was born last year , she was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. Through every doctors appointment, excruciating painful chemotherapy sessions, and radiation therapy, she remained positive and gracious. She stayed strong and was determined to conquer cancer to see her grand daughter grow up. She is now cancer free and enjoys an amazing bond with her grand daughter.
She’s the eldest of 4 other siblings and started working since she was 13 for her family. She is selfless, gracious and unbelievably loving. The first thing she said to us after her surgery was how we were all doing. We’re blessed to have her in our lives and think this gift would be a great way to show our appreciation for her.
I would like to nominate my big sister, who could use a little extra love this holiday season! Her 6 month old baby girl Clara was born with a heart defect and just had her first open heart surgery last week. Although she has two other children at home, my sister has spent most of her time at the hospital with Clara, and it has been tough on everyone. The hardest part is her family will have to spend Christmas apart. My big sis is one tough cookie and she is doing an amazing job trying to be there for everyone right now, but I know she could use a little something special just for her!
Hello. I would like to nominate my mom Carmen for this amazing giveaway. Unfortunately, my brother passed away this last November and my mom especially has been having a very hard time. Now a days the holidays seem more like hollow days for her. I would love for her to receive a little extra love this Christmas season since it used to be her favorite time of year. Her birthday is also the week after Christmas and this would be a great birthday surprise for her as well. My mom is a great person with a huge heart and although a piece of it is missing now ever since my brother passed away, I hope in some way we can fill that void in her heart with love and surprises along the way. Thank you for offering this wonderful giveaway. Happy holidays! God bless always.
I nominate my sister Sona. Who after living out-of-province for 6+ years moved back to Ontario to be close to family. In the last year, she’s had to bust her butt to find a job that aligned with her phd, adjusted to life with a toddler, battled the Toronto house market to find her very own home, and got pregnant with baby #2 on the way. She’s on month 8 and has had to battle pneumonia, while her husband has been away for 4 months for work. She hasn’t complained a bit about parenting solo, commuting to work and keeping on top of her busy bee, all the while pregnant and sick. She is totally deserving of some TLC and some appreciation for all her hard work as a momma, wife and professional. It’s been a year of ups and downs, and time for some smooth sailing.
My mom is the most selfless person I have ever met. She has gone through so much in this life from losing 2 husbands far too young ( my dad being one of them) and with them she lost almost everything she owned. She raisied 4 children by herself and still manages to look at the beautiful things in life and enjoy each day. She never buys anything for herself and takes any extra money she has to give her children and grandchildren things they need or gifts she wants to give them to make them happy. She has taught me so much about kindness and she deserves to be pampered a little!
I would like to nominate my best friend Samantha. She is such a busy single momma on the go! This past September she tackled going back to school as well as continuing to do an incredible job raising her two year old darling and enthusiastic (always moving, never sitting still) boy! she definitely deserves some extra love and to be spoiled. She always puts her little man first in everything and doesn’t spoil or buy herself anything and I think this would be such a blessing to her!
Enjoy your family time and Merry Christmas!!
xo
Kaitlin
My mother Julie (whom I nominate) is the most wonderful and inspiring woman ever. She is always there to help and care for everyone constantly, never thinking about herself. She took care of her ill parents and offered me love and support when I was living some very difficult moments. She gives so much to people even if it means sacrificing her own needs. She deserves the best in the world. I love her; she is my hero 🙂
I would love to nominate my best friend Amy. She recently had her second son on 11/30/14 and due to being self employed only gets 18days off after his birth and had her car broken (purse stolen) a week before his birth, and had to come up with $300 to pay for the broken window. Even through all of this she is still positive and happy to have two healthy boys. She truly deserves to have something good come her way.
Dear Monika,
I am an 18 year old freshman in college, and I would like to nominate my mom. I don’t remember the last time my mom got something special for herself, or did anything to pamper herself. My mom is always taking care of me, my sister, my grandmother, or my aunt with breast cancer all while working a full-time job, keeping the house clean, and making dinner for the family every night. Although my mom does not have a baby as in many of the other stories, she has raised two daughters, and I think that is quite a feat. Being in college, I can not afford to buy luxuries such as these for my mom, but I would love to give these items to my mother to remind her that she is special and extremely important to me.
Happy Holidays!
Sincerely,
Abby
I am nominating my sister Meghan. She is a new mom
I want to nominate my sister Danielle
Is she onw of the hardest working and dedicated wife, mother, sister, daughter and friend. She puts everyone ahead of herself. She always makes sure everyone has what they need and she never treats herself. She is a nurse and is dedicated and hardworking. She often goes on little sleep after night shifts so she can spend more time with her 2 sons. It would be a lovely surprise to spoil her this Christmas as she is so deserving of it.
I nominate my friend Belinda. She is a great person with a really big heart. She just passes her ‘one year’ mark of being a mom too! She spends all of her quality time with her family, and rarely has any left for herself. She is a woman whom even before babies was always caring and kind to others, she always gave back to the community and is a big participant in finding a cure for lupus (her older sister passed away from lupus a few years ago). I really hope she wins this package, she could really use it!
My mom….is a mom. A mom is everything; a mom knows everything, a mom as the biggest heart, a mom always have the right words, a mom always answer the phone when you call ( whatever what time it is ) , a mom cooks the best plates, even on mondays, a mom always have a solution. I just became a mom this year and real’y how big it is to be a mom. I have THE best mom, the mom of the mom’s, and she deserves this gift and much more….love you mom 😉 xxx ps: excuse my english, i’m french 😉
My sister, Laura, deserves to win these exta special holiday goodies. She’s a single mother of three rowdy boys. Her oldest has severe autism and she has shown me and the rest of our family how to grow just by raising her wonderful boys. Of course, being a mother of three boys, she doesn’t get any time to pamper herself or indulge in girly things. This would be a wonderful gift to brighten her holidays. I hope I’m half as good of a mother to my future kids as she is with her boys.
-Amy
My Sister-In-Law, Holly. I can’t even begin to explain how much I believe she deserves a surprise like this. For as long as I’ve known her, she’s always been the one to “go without.” She puts her husbands needs and desires before her own, and very very seldomly treats herself. It’s just who she is. She is a new mom now, and is in need or pampering more than ever, especially with a huge plumbing issue that happened just a few days ago. She always, always, always gives of herself, and never asks for anything. I know that this would brighten her day so much. Thanks for considering her!!
I would like to nominate a good friend of mine who is an amazing mom to two young daughters. She has overcome so much adversity in her life, but this year has been by far one of the toughest for her. Without going into too much detail, her husband has just told her recently that he would like a divorce. Christmas will be hard on her because it’ll be the first time she won’t be able to spend it with her two toddler aged girls who are very excited for the holiday!
She is constantly doing everything she can to help other moms out by looking after their kids when they need a hand, picking their kids up from school or dropping them off when their own parents can’t make it, all while being amazing to her own two and working as well. She truly goes above and beyond at all times for her own friends and extends that to their children by planning the most fun activites and days out any time she gets the chance to spend time with them.
Knowing she will be alone this Christmas breaks my heart, and although these material things will in no way replace the time she will miss out with her kids, I know it will put a smile on her face and she can have a minor distraction for at least a little while until she is reunited with her girls.
My sister Meghan is the most dedicated and loving mother, sister, daughter and friend. Since having her son in May she has spent all of her energy trying to make his life the best possible, leaving little time for herself. She is so incredibly deserving of a little pampering and relaxation!
i am nominating my beautiful friend V (she is a true beauty, the kind that starts from the heart) who, after 5+ years of trying, including countless fertility treatments, is now one trimester into her pregnancy! throughout the whole process she never gave up hope and persevered through the pain and heartache. she is going to be the best mommy and can definitely use this giveaway to celebrate the next best chapter in her life!
Hello, sorry i accidentally replied to somesone post instead of commenting ><
First of all i would like to say hello and thank you for this wonderful gift!
ld like to nominate my mom, after my dad had a stroke 3 years ago, she has been working extra trying to support our family.
She hasn’t bought anything for herself, and always giving up things she wants for things we need.
Even though my sister and i get her a gift on her birthday, we can’t afford to get her a Christmas present, and this would really be a great gift for her.
Especially after losing her father this year, and rest of the troubles that happened, this gift will definitely sparkle her year!
I nominate my sister-in-law, Crystal. She’s had a tough year with personal health troubles. She always goes the extra mile for her family, loves with everything in her, and never demands anything in return. She would be blessed beyond words with something like this.
Thank you!
I would like to nominate my sister Nicole Zacharias. My sister is a mom of 3 wonderful little darlings – Lukas age 3 & 1.5 year old twins Jordyn and Nico. My sister is an incredible mother, her children always come first to her. From the sacrifices she makes to ensure her little ones are perpetually surrounded by love, attention and creativity to the pure adoration she has for her crew, my sister is unstoppable and incredibly inspiring. I see her shine despite sleepless nights, crying babies, a tantruming toddler, as her babies touch her heart everyday. My sister continues to work as a physiotherapist, two mornings a week (waking up at 430am!), while pulling double duty as a full time mom. Having 3 under 3 in her house the going gets rough at time – seriously her crew never tires, but Nicole is a rockstar and loves every minute of it. This girl is so deserving of your giveaway, Nicole is someone who will always treat and care for her kids before ever considering herself. She is a wonderfully present mother. When Nico, her youngest boy, was only 2 weeks old he was hospitalized secondary to an infection of a congenital tear duct cyst and I watched Nicole’s heart beat for her little one as he underwent spinal taps and iv antibiotics. Nicole never left his side through the heart wrenching process. I would love to see my sister, who is an incredibly deserving and loving mom receive your giveaway. The energy this girl has deserves to be rewarded. Seriously, twins and the most energetic toddler you’ve ever met are as wonderful as they are exhausting! Whenever we manage to treat my sister to a little break for a haircut or manicure or what have you, my sister is happiest when she walks back through the door to her adoring little crew.
I would like to nominate my cousin, Bridie, who is not only one of my role models for being such a strong, authentic woman, but also a SUPER MOM for her two beautiful girls. Her daughters were both born blind, and the oldest has been diagnosed with autism. She received very little support from the public school system, so finally made the brave choice this year of homeschooling both of them, teaching herself brail so she could teach her daughters, and working tirelessly to find funding to provide them with the special resources they need as visually impaired children, that the public school system did not have. But what inspires me most about Bridie is that she is always smiling, full of positivity and a true beacon of light in the lives of those around her. I know this gift would be such a blessing for her.
This is so generous! I would like to nominate my oldest sister who has 2 girls. She is a working mom who gave up her 9-5 career to have a flexible schedule so she can be at home with the girls. She ALWAYS has one (if not both of them) with her and truly does not take time for herself because her first line of order is being a mommy. They are moving before the first of the year and just found out 2 weeks ago that they are moving and with Christmas, packing, etc. I know this would be the perfect surprise to treat herself and start fresh in 2015.
This would be a spectacular surprise for my sister. This year she stayed home to take care of our sick mother (who just recently passed away), her kids, her husband’s dad and still found time to have a smile and be the strength for me and our family. She always gives, gives and then gives some more. I’m always trying to convince her to take some time for herself, but her happiness is taking care of everyone around her. I think this would be a very deserving gift for her!
I would like to nominate my best friend and Mom of two baby boys, Anita – one is 17 months and the other a newborn, just under 3 months old. Having two babies so young has been very tough and she handles it like a pro! She never forgets to take the time to continue to make her husband, her family and her friends feel special, even though she has her hands full and is completely exhausted from a colicky newborn. She deserves to be treated, that’s for sure! Thank you for doing this giveaway. It’s the perfect time of year to spoil Moms!!
When I was ten, I helped my best friend write a poem for a Mother’s Day poetry competition. My friend won without giving me any recognition and in tears I ran to my own mom and told her what happened. My mom never asked me why I didn’t write my own poem for her, she just comforted me and told me that sometimes, when you love someone, you don’t always need to have your hard work and sacrifice celebrated. At that time, I wasn’t old enough to realize that she was the perfect example of this selfless love – but this holiday I would love to give her a gift to thank her for the best gift that she’s given me – the gift of a mother’s love.
My mom just passed the 5 year mark after being diagnosed with Breast Cancer which is a huge deal! I would love to give her something to celebrate this big milestone in her life and let her know how much she means to everyone around her. She really is the best!
My sister-in-law is someone who could use this gift. She’s started off at the end of last year with a miscarriage. Just when we all thought it wasn’t going to work…VOILA….a baby is on its way this mid-January. We are looking forward to 2015 with pure joy! She’s works full time and manages to still make crafts with her other two children, cook for our family get-togethers once a month and volunteer as well at the library to read to younger children. This woman doesn’t stop to think about her appearance, her alone time or her needs most of the time. I think this would show her that she’s very much loved and appreciated by our family.
My sister…she is an amazing first time mom who has little time for herself. Between teaching 25 children all day at school and running home to spend time with her 13 month old, she EXCEEDS any expectation of a mother I have ever seen. She is kind, caring, nurturing, phenomenal. She spends her life doing EVERYTHING for everyone else and she is beyond deserving to have something done for her!
Normally I would nominate my sweet loving Mom, but this year Shauna Dukes is hands-down getting my nomination. Sigh, how do you begin to tell the story of a 19 month old little boy named Trucker who is sweet as pie and fighting for his life with his battle with neuroblastoma? Essentially the same age as Liam and Charlie, as a Mom it tears my heart out. Shauna has been such a beautiful strong soul throughout this and with 3 other children to care for, I am in awe of her every day. Praying like mad for this precious family! Love Tori xo
I would like to nominate my own mother for this. She is the most selfless person I know, and she gives and gives. This year has not been an easy year for me, I was away in London getting my Master’s degree and found out I was pregnant during my final term. Long story short, it did not work out with the father and as soon as I finished my thesis I decided to fly back to the US, and this was while I was 7 months pregnant. My mother took me in, knowing no one else was supporting me or my baby, and here I am living with her until my baby pops out this week. I am unable to do anything for her at this moment, but I feel like she deserves the world for helping me throughout this whole ordeal because I know it must be very difficult. She has never complained and makes sure I have everything I need. Words cannot express the gratitude I have for her because without her I don’t know what I would do. But it’s more than just this, she takes care of many people. She always has. She was born in the Philippines and to this day still sends money back to her huge family that is back there and asks for nothing in return. I just wish… she could feel the appreciation and admiration I have for her as a mother and as a human being, because she is genuinely good-hearted and a kind spirit. She’s someone I look up to still in that way because of all the people I’ve ever met, she’s rare and is giving to everyone. I feel so lucky and blessed to be her daughter. I need to stop typing now lol, I think my hormones are getting the best of me, my eyes are watery! Have a Merry Christmas!
I would like to nominate my dear friend, Carmel B. She is Wonder Woman, plain and simple. In addition to raising two daughters under four, one with Down’s Syndrome, she works part-time and has recently returned to part-time school to become an Interior Designer. In her “spare time”, she works on home renovation projects. She is strong, determined, extremely passionate and driven. I’m blessed to call her a friend and so happy for the opportunity to nominate such a deserving person!
I would love to nominate my friend Jacqueline. She is a single mom and is one of the hardest working people I know. She has her beautiful daughter young and had to figure out how to raise her all on her own. Having to work two jobs to give her daughter the best life she could. She is one of the funniest and most caring people I have ever met. I think she deserves to be pampered and for someone to put her first as she does her daugther and friends.
My best friend Brooke is the most deserving mom! With baby #2 on the way (due in February!) she is a wonderful mom to Emerson, the cutest little one and a half year old. In the last 5 years she has overcome losing her younger brother in a car accident, losing her younger sister to health complications from a genetic condition, but somehow through it all remained a bright light in her friend and families lives, a wonderful mother who has created a life with her family in Atlanta and has followed her passion and dreams of photography. She has a thriving photography business Brooke Whitney Photography and gets to take pictures of newborns on a daily basis! She spreads light and love to everyone in her life and she was alongside me today while I tried on wedding dresses! She is well deserving and LOVES freshly picked moccs – she’d be thrilled to win!
I nominate my own mother for this. She’s a single mom, who’s always done an amazing job raising me (now 25) and my 16 year old sister. Last year she lost her job while suffering from serious depression – but this year she’s overcome challenge after challenge and made so much progress that I couldn’t be happier for her. No matter what she’s always puts family first, thinking of herself and her needs last. She’s absolutely the strongest person I know. She doesn’t consider herself “lucky”, so to win something like this with so many amazing items would be truly heartwarming for her on Christmas. It would definitely be a positive way to start the new year! Merry Christmas!
I am hoping it’s not too late to nominate my mama, Yvonne Ng.
My mum has dedicated her life to serving others, and raising my brother, sister and I despite experiencing a ton of health issues, (asthma, arthritis, and being sick often and in and out of the hospital throughout much of her life) and unfortunately a lot of hurt throughout her life.
For example, I have never once seen my mum spoil herself (buy any new clothes, make up, jewellery or really anything) because she always put our and/or others needs ahead of her. Most recently, during the month August, we were out East for a wedding and she fell. Turns out she had a slip disc and had to go through five spinal surgeries. It has been a long and trying journey but thankfully. she is recovering. The difficult part is that she has to relearn how to walk and use her hands etc.
I believe my mama should win this giveaway because she deserves to be spoiled and feel special. She has dedicated her life to doing this for others despite her trying journey and I just want her to experience the love that she has always given to my siblings, and to others.
Hi! I would love to nominate one of my oldest and dearest friends. Rebecca is a woman of faith who has done her best to make lemonade out of the lemons life has given her! After being married for years she found out her husband was being unfaithful to her, and even though she was committed to healing and restoration that would not be the final outcome. Now a single mom to three kids (one of whom was adopted and suffers from severe FAS and ADHD) she is working hard to be self sufficient being able to provide for her family independently. This year she managed to purchase a small house on her own and worked with her three kids to give it a make-over and make it feel like home. Rebecca works full-time, serves her church faithfully, continuously puts her kids needs above her own and has given up a lot of the little “treats” we take for granted in order to take care of her family and provide them a safe, stable, God-centered home. With no family close by her throughout the year I know she carries a lot of the load on her own. I would LOVE for her to be blessed with this gift, more than just a gift under the tree or just a chance to be pampered and to feel special, it would be like a “God-kiss” after a tough year. Thanks so much and Merry Christmas! xx
I’m nominating my daughter, Elizabeth. She blessed us with a beautiful granddaughter 2 & 1/2 years ago but suffered from terrible post pardium. It took her a year to get back to “herself”. Severe depression, crazy scary panic attacks it was the most horrible year but also the best being blessed with Emma. Now she’s expecting another baby girl in a few weeks. We’re all prepared this time but I don’t think she’ll suffer through it again. She’s happy excited loving and feels so blessed. Thank you for letting me share my heartfelt love for my daughter.
I would like to nominate my mother, Mandy. this year she is fighting breast cancer and we are all supporting her and helping her to take care of herself first, she has spent her entire life putting herself last. I would love to make her smile and pamper her and show her how much she means to us, give her a lift before she starts this next round of radiation. Thanks and merry Christmas and a happy new year Hibbs family! Xo
I would love to nominate my beautiful mother! Not only is she an amazing mom, she is my dearest friend-and we both know the difference between the two. She has had a very rough year with both of her parents having serious medical issues, as well as her only sister, but she has kept a positive attitude and smiled through it all!! I love my mom and know she deserves all the amazing treat this would bring.
I would like to nominate my sister beside for her being my best friend, she is very devoted to her 2 beautiful girls, she spends most of her pregnancy on bedrest and loves her girls unconditionally! She is completely selfles she will buy anything for her kids before getting anything for herself! Her getting all these gift will be a perfect holiday present for her since she never really spends much money or time on herself .
My single mom has done an excellent job in raising me to be the person I am today. Unfortunaelty she recently slipped & fell breaking her ankle in 3 places which also required surgery. With it being Christmas & her not being able to attend most events because of this she’s been a little sad but never trying to let others see it. I feel this amazing gift would help in lifting her spirits and bringing back that little sparkle she needs in her long road of recovery. Merry Christmas!
I hope I’m not too late! I would like to nominate my mom who is the most amazing woman I know. She has never had things easy and was widowed twice within two and a half years. My dad was killed in a tragic white water rafting accident five years ago. After his death, she was robbed of any life insurance money she had by some men involved in a Ponzi scheme and she was left with nothing. A year later she remarried and a year into their marriage, my stepdad was diagnosed with brain cancer. My mom gave up everything to take care of him. After suffering for six months, he lost his battle. She was left with astronomical hospital bills. Although my mom has suffered so much loss and heartache, she somehow manages to stay positive. She is like a ray of sunshine and is generous in all her doings. She gives of herself without expecting anything in return and never does anything for herself. I would love nothing more than to be able to spoil her this Christmas. She is so deserving of it. I only hope that one day I can be at least a fraction of the outstanding woman that she is.
I would like to nominate my mom. My mom has been my number one support and cheerleader my whole life. She has always made all my dreams a reality… She financially supported me through nursing school and has now taken on planning my wedding after i had to move away from my home town for my fiancé’s work. She has always put her 4 daughters first and never does anything for herself. I can’t think of anyone more selfless than my mom. My dad was slowly become more and more debilitated by a rare severe autoimmune disease… But somehow she manages to take on his role and responsibilities and put even more on her overflowing plate. I can’t think of anyone more deserving of a special gift. I look up to my mom more than anyone in this world and without her I know I wouldn’t be who I am today. I hope to be half the mom she is one day.
I hope you have an amazing holiday and thanks for recognizing all the amazing mommas out there, it’s so generous of you!
P.s. Liam is

P.s. Liam is so handsome!
Amazing! Thanks for the chance! My mama is my hero, despite going through horrible domestic violence experience, she found the strength to move on, conquered her fears and spread the love and light to others!! Happy holidays to everyone!
I nominate Cherie Elhart – although I have never met her, I know her via her blog/Facebook page Charlie’s Angels. If you have a moment look her up, and as a fellow Mama you will be brought to tears. Her daughter Charlie-Anne is proof that angels are here on earth. You will fall in love with her. She has a rare disease SMA and was given only 1 year to live, she is now 5. She has an amazing Mama who deserves to be soiled this Christmas. Thank-you!
I would nominate my mom. She just had hip replacement surgery over the holiday and could not wait to get up and going to make sure her family was well taken care of for christmas. She is selfless, beyond thoughtful and still manages to support and nurture me like I am a little girl, even though those days have come and left. My mom and I’s relationship has grown so strong over the past few years and our mutual respect and love for each other is the foundation of it all.
