A little Stay-cation at Four Seasons Vancouver
Have you ever stay-cationed in your own city? It’s the best way to “get away” from your every day routine without the huge rush of a vacation, especially with a new baby!
Troy, Liam & I had the BEST time staying downtown Vancouver (40 min away from our home) at the gorgeous Four Seasons Hotel. We enjoyed so many activities that the hotel offered as well as all the near by family attractions! We were a little hesitant bringing Liam into a luxury hotel, apparently nobody loves a screaming baby. (Liam doesn’t scream by the way, he’s perfectly behaved…) The Four Seasons Hotel was BEYOND amazing with hosting us and baby Liam! The hotel staff all greeted him with the biggest smiles and offered him everything from baby crackers to stuffed toys, a beautiful crib in our room and extra bits of baby luxury here and there! Knowing how much they welcomed a baby, made us feel that much more welcomed! We had a great time. Here’s a little recap of our fun trip into the city!
Being completely central downtown Vancouver we enjoyed exploring our city, from the art gallery to the skating rink to some shopping down Robson St.
Looks like Liam can’t wait to get his first pair of skates on! He loved watching everyone skating in Robson Square. (Not sure about this hockey mom thing yet…)
An adorable play area in the hotel with stuffed toys and bouncy areas, bringing Liam lots of laughter!
Who doesn’t like waking up in a extra comfy king size bed. (Mom and Dad you can have the crib.)
Being in Vancouver, the rain was pouring down, so we decided to stay in and just hang out in our pj’s until late morning. The best!
Lunch! Yew restaurant at the hotel is unbelievably delicious! We LOVED the food! …And the in-room dining too I might add. Next.. off to a couple’s massage, yes with Liam… too perfect right?
We laughed so hard when we rolled Liam’s crib into the spa. We timed our massages right in the middle of Liam’s nap, we tucked his crib next door to us and relaxed to the n’thed degree! (Okay… I won’t lie, we had to get up but it was worth every effort to make it work.) Again, the staff were understanding and helped with Liam so Troy and I could feel a bit of extra pampering during our little vacation 40 minutes away from home! Oh! And the messages were beyond, and Liam finally fell asleep!
Thank you so much to the Four Seasons Hotel Vancouver for such an incredible stay. We’ve never felt so welcome with our little Liam, we will be back soon!
Thank you to Jamie Lauren Photography for capturing our little getaway, we are so thankful for you!
Huge thank you to Denise Elliott for Makeup, making me feel extra beautiful and for Blo at the FSH for my gorgeous blowout! This momma felt amazing!
