Our home in Style at Home Magazine

Well, it’s been two weeks since the April issue of Style at Home magazine has been out!  You can imagine the overwhelming excitement of finally opening the magazine and seeing our home photos in print!

I hope you had a chance to flip thought it! I know a lot of you who don’t live in Canada, don’t have access to the hard copy! But good news is you can purchase a digital copy from the iTunes store on your iPad annnndd I’m giving you a  little peek today on the blog! I won’t be too wordy today, because we all know that pictures speak a thousand words! But, I do want to say that I’m so thankful for all your support and positive comments! It means the world to know, that opening our home gives you all decor inspiration and painting everything in sight white! (wink)

  4. Love the images–you have a beautiful home! I am about to start renovating my kitchen and really want to do carrara marble countertops. I’ve heard that they stain and chip very easily making them not a very good overall counter option. What do you think? Should I go for it anyway?

      Thank you for your sweet comment! I think protecting your marble is very important! We haven’t had any problems yet!! 🙂

  8. Wow! Your house is beautiful. I love the spray painted Ikea furniture. Do you mind sharing what paint you used? Did you have to do anything before applying the paint? Thanks and congrats on the amazing photo shoot.

      Thank you! Yes the spray paint is very important! I use a gold spray from Home Depot. It’s the one with the frame on the can! 🙂 By Rust-oleum!

      Thank you! The magazine should be on stands now- only in Canada though. If you are out of the country try the online version! 🙂

  17. I love, love, love your home! Where did you find those white dining chairs – would they be a problem to keep white with small children or are they washable? Also, I love the bench in the living room – do you mind sharing where that is from? Gorgeous home and love your style!
