Bonjour! Bonjour! I’m excited to be back home and finally sharing our Paris trip here on my blog! If you follow my social channels then you probably caught on that Troy and I were in Paris all last week! I had the incredible opportunity to travel to Paris with Lancome for their 80th Anniversary celebration! (More about that to come in an upcoming post!)
Today I wanted to share our very first day in this city that we just adore. We’ve traveled to Paris a handful of times now and couldn’t wait to be back. There is always something to see and fall in love with all over again. First day in the city can be exhausting, simply because of the 8 hour time change, so keeping it low key with a relaxing walk, is just what we needed. First stop was the Tuileries Gardens; continuing down from the Louvre, looking all the way down to the Arc de Triumph. As you can tell by the above photos, the mood of the area is simply magical. The perfect way to be welcomed by this lovable city. Not to mention a gorgeous sneak peek of the Eiffel Tower too! If you haven’t been to Paris yet, this is a great first stop in the city. Plus there is a ton of iconic chairs and benches scattered throughout the gardens and around the fountains for a place to just relax and take it all in.
Can’t wait to show you the rest of our trip! I’ll be touching on our favourites Parisian spots and where to go while in Paris. If you have any questions feel free to ask and I’ll do my best to respond!

These photos are beautiful! My husband and I are going to Paris in 2 weeks to celebrate our 2 year wedding anniversary and also to attend our friends wedding. It’s been my dream since I took French in high school to go to Paris and I can hardly contain my excitement at the fulfillment of this almost 20 year long dream coming true. I can’t wait to read more about your trip. Any tips on surviving the heat wave there and places we must not miss are greatly appreciated.
I love these photos! How beautiful! And your sandals are so cute!
