DIY Christmas Crackers & Tags (Printable!)
Making DIY Christmas crackers is a project that’s been on my list for years. It was such a treat to finally sit down and make them! With only a few easy steps, they’re simple to pull together and the possibilities for personalizing them are endless. Besides (obviously) featuring them at your Christmas table, I love the idea of using one of these crackers to wrap a gift. One of my favorite items to give my girlfriends is a piece of Leah Alexandra jewelry. It would tuck into one of these crackers so nicely!
Unique gift tags are another way to add an extra-special touch to your Christmas gifts. It’s the finishing touch to a present — and is, arguably, the most important as it ensures the right gift gets into the right hands.
Luckily for you, we’ve got a set of printable templates you can use to make your own Christmas crackers and gift tags! Our MH graphic designer, Sarah, put these together and I am thrilled with how they turned out. Find some pretty paper, print out as many as you need, and have fun pulling your holiday gifts together!
I can’t even get over how adorable these boot tags turned out! These might just be my favorite winter boots right now, so to have a matching tag just made them that much more special for your gift giving. You can find the boots here. (And the gift tag printable download is below!)

Steps
Download our template and print it onto the paper of your choice. Cut them out!
Take one sheet of tissue paper, fold it in half, and then cut it in half.
Put the cracker snap in the middle of the tube and adhere it in the center with a dab of glue.
Place one of the tissue halves at the bottom of the paper tube and roll it until the tissue paper is taut. Tape the edge down.
Wrap the cracker template around the tissue and tape the seam together. Tuck the gifts inside. Tie a bow on each side to seal up the cracker.
