#InspiredBy
Summer is in full blast here in Vancouver! It’s hot- (very hot), and our city certainly is showing off! I am a summer girl at heart. I crave to be outdoors and exploring my city! My number one favourite thing to do in the summer time is to rent some bikes, ride around the sea wall, ending off the day with a yummy picnic/dinner with my two favourite men!
This summer I’ve teamed up with American Express Canada to really explore Vancouver- with all of you! I would love to have you take part and share with me your favourite hot spots right here in Vancouver. Research done by AMEX shows that we have a strong desire to discover the places we live in and almost everyone (98%) believes exploring our home towns helps us live our lives to the fullest! I couldn’t agree more! –Have you biked around the sea wall lately? The cool sea breeze in your hair makes you want to take over the world! We love in such a stunning place! Not to mention the laughing 15 month old in the back seat of the bike, he was literally on cloud 9 our whole bike ride.
So- #InspiredBy is a fun project for all of you to be part of! Comment below with your Passion Points in Vancouver, tell me about the places you love, your favourite secret places, places where you and your friends & family gather and enjoy each other’s company. Then AMEX will be mapping each activity, place, restaurant, shopping area out on a visual map. Think: food, music, fashion, reading, and wellness.
When the road map is all complete I will be sharing it on my blog, giving you a full access map to the best summer hots spots in our city!
My favourite spots
Biking around the Sea wall and Stanley Park. Strolling though Yaletown and finding a great new place to eat, maybe even something quick at Urban Fare. & setting up a picnic at David Lam Park, and people watching with my two main men!

If you guys like hanging out in Yaletown you should definitely do a picnic at George Wayborn park. It’s about a 5-10 minute walk along the seawall towards Granville bridge. Tons of trees for shade, big open grassy area, and a tot playground. Best of all it’s never as busy as the main stretch so just super relaxing.
I’ve already planned to go on a picnic this weekend too! Hopefully the weather prevails! Looks like you guys had fun! Beautiful family!
I’m 21 and just started a blog of my own. Could you please check it out?
