It’s here it’s here! I am so excited to finally share my collaboration with Canadian designer Emma Knudsen is now available for you to purchase!!! But let me take a moment and take two steps back and share a little about how it all came to be. You might recall seeing me wearing Emma’s iconic Lauren dress over the past couple years… it’s always drawn so much interest and questions from all of you. So when Emma approached me about a possible Spring/ Summer collection, not only was I thrilled to work together, but I was so excited to create a collection that I know you’d all love.

Together we created three pieces perfect for any occasion this spring and summer. I’m beyond thrilled to bring you two dresses: the Flora Dress & Misha Dress and a playful top: the Lilly Tank. We started the design process back in January, simply starting with the selection of fabrics and her classic silhouettes. I knew I wanted one of the pieces to be made of a delicate organic linen with gathered ruffle details, and so the first initial brain storming of the Flora dress began. We made three samples of this dress, making sure that each layer hit at the perfect level, the length was flattering and of course the off the shoulder ruffle gave off an undeniable feminine statement. The white Misha dress was designed from the original Lauren dress that Emma’s collection has been known for. We added a modest lace detail framing the shoulders to give it a fun updated look for those not only new to the dress but perhaps for those already owning the original. And then there is the Lilly tank. Honestly the most versatile, flattering and easy to wear tank I’ve ever owned. While we were browsing the different fabrics I right away knew I wanted to use this embroidered cotton because of my love for daisies and floral prints. It has a youthful yet elegantly modern feel to it, which you’ll find makes it easy to transition from day to night.
