Spring Family Fashion
The last week of incredible sunshine and warmer weather reminded me that I most likely didn’t have Spring clothes that would fit the kids! Does any one else feel like every time they open their kid’s drawers and pull out something for them to where, they’ve someone already outgrown it? Especially Blake he is getting so big so fast, that first year not only speeds by but they grow so quickly out of their adorable little clothes.
With Easter just around the corner and the sun making more frequent appearances, I wanted to get a few fun and cheerful pieces for the kids. As well as be able to wear for the upcoming spring and summer months ahead. Including a matching pastel coloured plaid shirt and onesie for Liam and Blake, because how can you not right? I have always been such a big fan of Gap kids; their cloths are not only darling but they made well and always fit perfect for their age. They have beautiful patterns and colour-ways, cute accent details; especially for holidays such as Easter!
For Lillya, I just love this adorable floral dress in the most stunning fabric, paired with casual leather braided sandals, perfect for church or a family brunch. Some of the other pieces I loved: this Polka dot print jean jacket, as well as this little blush pink striped overalls! She, of course, had to have these heart sunglasses, that girl has so much spunk and style of her own already! See what else I picked out for her below.
For Liam, these light denim cut off shorts shorts paired with an adorable pastel coloured check on this dress shirt is very fitting for Spring! These neutral slip on shoes are also perfect for him, casual but can be dressed up as well. (And easy to play in.) I like to make sure he has a nice pair of dress pants and button up dress shirts for Spring, that are both great for playing around or for a nice weekend day out with the family. Also a tip for all the mama’s with busy boys, I make sure Liam has at least four pairs of denim shorts. He gets so dirty playing outside all Spring and Summer, and the denim always holds up and looks good as new after a good wash.
Can we just stop and take a moment to talk about Blake in these striped shorts; I can’t even handle the cuteness and those chunky thighs! I also decided on a simple button down onesie and this adorable knit bunny ear sweater that I just could not pass up, especially this close to Easter! (And it’s on sale for $20, I promise you’ll thank me later; it’s that cute! Below are some of my other top pieces I selected for him.
I was able to find some beautiful pieces for myself as well, a classic white linen wrap dress that will carry me through spring and summer, and this romper that I already got so many questions about from you all! The fit on the romper was perfect, not to tight but cut in the right places to be flattering with the tie wrap. I may just be picking up another one in a different colour.
We are all set to go!
Thank you to Gap for sponsoring such a fun Spring post! All opinions and comments are my own.
