Stepping into Fall
Have you noticed that the leaves have started to change colour?? Before we know it, everything pumpkin spice, cozy knits and the theme of harvest will be in full swing. We are all so excited as fall might just be our favourite around here. Isn’t it always fun to get re-inspired and excited for the upcoming season ahead?
Perhaps you are doing some updating within your home this fall, maybe your entry-way is looking for a mini refresh? This bench from Brooke & Lou is classic and functional, with its subtle wood tone and spindle detail. New accents such as a neutral checked pillow or framed botanical print are the perfect way to bring a touch of fall into your home. For most, the front door and entry is a fun and easy way to get festive. This dried hops wreath is a pretty welcoming touch for your front door alongside your pumpkins and gourds! Annnnnd what would the fall season be without a perfectly scented candle to fill your home with the aroma of pumpkin spice and mulled cider. The ones we’ve included are an all time fall favourite.
We all know fall is the time for cozy home-made meals. A large dutch oven is your best friend for slow-simmering hearty dinners. Why not try a recipe from the ever-so-talented Aran Goyoaga and her new cookbook that comes out in a couple of weeks – we can’t wait to get our hands on it.
Fall fashion is everyone’s favourite right? I’m still all over the idea of wearing relaxed and comfortable dresses on repeat moving into fall. These two dresses are currently in my cart. And of course switching my espadrilles in for these camel coloured booties, I love that they have a subtle cowboy style to them and bonus… they’re super comfortable too. Not ready to put all those summer slides away??? Ya, me too! these are the coziest sandals I have ever seen, I am definitely getting a pair and wearing them into fall. And possibly slipping them on winter days too.
