Summer Wellness
Summer is the perfect time to embrace living well and focus on your health and wellness. I’m already so inspired to spend time outdoors as the days get longer and brighter, and integrating my workouts with time spent in nature is the best way to boost that much-needed Vitamin D and get fresh air.
Whether you’re walking, jogging, or gardening having some key pieces of athleisure wear in your closet is a plus! These comfortable leggings with a subtle stripe of colour are a great update to your workout closet, you can get the matching bra too. If you are not into adding that pop of colour these more neutral-toned leggings may be more your style. This pullover from Varley has been my go-to lately, after a workout I can pop it on and, it makes me feel just put together enough. Don’t forget a great pair of runners.
To make sure you’re staying hydrated when you’re out in the sun, I’ve chosen a practical and fun water bottle you can bring along. If you struggle to drink enough water throughout the day, my tip is to add lemon slices or a handful of berries to brighten the flavour. One of the benefits of planting so many seasonal fruits and vegetables in my garden this year garden is all the fresh greens I get to use in the kitchen. Summer is already ideal for eating natural and locally grown produce, but I like to add a little extra boost to my daily nutrition when I can.
