A Meal Your Family Will LOVE!
I partnered with Campbell’s Soup to show you a delicious and easy recipe for Creamy Bacon Mac and Cheese using Campbell’s Great for Cooking Condensed Cream of Bacon Soup! This new soup flavour is great on its own or can be used to make many other recipes! I love this mac and cheese recipe for how quick and easy it is and how much the whole family enjoys it! This recipe is a win-win because all of Campbell’s Condensed soups are made with real ingredients, like real cream and bacon and have no artificial flavours or colours – always making for a delicious, super enjoyable meal!
Together, we created an awesome video with you step-by-step instructions, making your cooking experience quick and easy! Enjoy! Watch video here.
Creamy Bacon Mac and Cheese
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 20 minutes
1 can CAMPBELL’S® Condensed Cream of Bacon Soup
¾ cup milk
1 cup shredded old cheddar cheese
2 tbsp. chopped fresh chives
3 cups prepared elbow pasta (about 1 ½ cups or 375 mL uncooked)
¼ cup dry breadcrumbs
2 tbsp. butter, melted
Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Grease a 2 qt (1.9 L) baking dish, set aside.
- In a large bowl, whisk together soup and milk until smooth. Stir in cheese, chives and cooked elbow pasta to combine. Transfer mixture to prepared baking dish.
- In a small bowl, combine breadcrumbs and melted butter. Sprinkle over pasta. Bake for 15–20 minutes or until hot and bubbling.
For even more bacon flavour, add 2 tbsp. (30 mL) crumbled, crisp bacon to the sauce.
- Try replacing the elbow pasta with your favourite shape (penne, rigatoni, butterfly, etc.) for a new twist on mac and cheese.
I hope you enjoy this delicious mac and cheese as much as my family does! Happy cooking!
