It’s that time of year again! That’s right… I’m talking about the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. I wasn’t sure I was going to dive into the sale this year. However, typically I take this sale as an opportunity to purchase some of my favourite items like make-up that need to be replaced, as well as if there is a staple piece that is a good value and I know could get a lot of wear out of. Especially moving into fall. I’ve rounded up some of my favourite products and closet must-haves.

Although summer is in full swing here, that doesn’t stop me from thinking ahead to fall, as it’s just around the corner. I can and can’t wait to pull out the jackets and cardigans! Having a few staple jackets in your wardrobe is a must for me, as we live in a place that has a bit of a colder climate, I do find I get a lot of wear out of these types of pieces. I have had my eye on something like this Suede or Leather Moto Jacket, for a couple of years and would be happy to invest in a piece like this. For a casual outfit, this Cinched Waist Linen jacket is the epitome of fall vibes with its deep colour. And there is nothing more comfortable than a Teddy Faux Fur Coat, this one goes past the waist to keep you warm on those chilly autumn days.  This cardigan is in my cart and ready to go, I already see myself wearing it with the perfect pair of jeans cozied up by our outdoor fireplace.

I’ve also linked some of my favourite beauty products. This lip tint is subtle and perfect for everyday wear with a touch of rose. And if I had to recommend any hair product, it would be this dry shampoo and texturizing spray, it is a lifesaver on the days you need to look your best when you’re in a pinch. And this translucent powder from Laura Mercier is my all-time favourite… you’ll always find it in my makeup bag!

Nothing gets you moving more than a good pair of shoes. A good pair of sneakers that pairs great with a casual dress or classic jeans & t-shirt is perfect for those cool crisp days. This low-top sneaker or this canvas sneaker is a great find from the sale. It’s also easy to dress up an outfit with the right shoe, and in the fall… BOOTIES are a must. Both this neutral  suede pointed toe bootie or this leather bootie  can be great staples in your wardrobe for years to come.
